Im Here I Promise

I have been pretty busy, Saturday I spent all day in Alexander City with Brittany and her band competition. The majorettes made a #1. I was so excited. I did not get home until 2:30 Sunday morning from that and Sunday I spent the whole day cleaning and cleaning out stuff. We are apparently having a yard sale (per Chance). So I cleaned stuff out and got rid of stuff, I have alot more to do too. It is amazing how much crap you will keep or acquire thinking you will use it or need it someday. I am not a pack rat by no means, but I do keep some stuff thinking that. My philosophy every time we have moved and we have moved ALOT is if I have not used it in 6 months I dont need it and I will get rid of it. So now that I am NOT moving EVER again I have acquired stuff that needs to go.
I have also been busy reading one of the books Teresa told me to get. It is called Go Ask Alice and it was written anonymously. It is about a 15 year old girl and it is actually her diary. She started doing drugs and it just documents her life, remember it is her diary and what she wrote herself. I have to say it was good. Teresa told me to read it and then give it to Brittany to read, however I am a little reserved about giving it to Brittany. It has alot of graphic stuff in there about what she did and what happened to her. I think I will wait a little bit before I hand it over to her.
I am now going to start on the next book The Glass Castle, I will let you know what it is like when I am finished, it again is an autobiography. So if I dont write in a few days I am engrossed in the book and just cant pry myself away from it.
