Sweet 16

Okay, well we all know that Brittany is about to turn 16 in a couple of months. I have been so worried about the car situation for a couple of weeks now since I found out from her father that he is NOT buying her a car. How lovely for him after all for the past year or so he has told Brittany he was buying her one! Long story short he is NOT buying her one. So I have been worried and concerned about how we were going to buy her a car in just 2 months notice. I was talking to Brittany last night and low and behold she does not want a car!!! Believe it or not she said to me that she does not want to have to worry about gas money, job and car insurance when she turns 16. All she really wants is a puppy, granted the puppy is over $500.00 but that is better than a car, right???? She said she would like a car later, maybe during the summer or something. I guess my baby is growing up in a way, she is atleast thinking correctly- insurance+gas= JOB and I know she does not want that right now. So needless to say I do have time to get things in order to buy her a car, but then if you look at it --- I will probably still be buying 2 cars at the same time, 1 for Brittany and 1 for Taelor. I am not going to stress about that I am for the moment going to just thank the lord I do not have to buy on in 2 months along with Christmas too! My baby is growing up :(
