Birthday Blessings

I have to say I had a great birthday yesterday. I left work at lunch, went to get my hair did and then it was off to Barnes & Noble to get the books Teresa said I HAD to get. I then went to Kohls and spent all of my money I had there (Thanks Dee) I bet I walked around that store for 2 hours, I was not rushed one bit. I was able to try on clothes with out my child saying she was tired and wanted to go home. I just really enjoyed myself in that store and walked out with 2 new pairs of blue jeans and 2 shirts. After I left there I figured it was MY birthday and I deserved a treat... I went to Ben & Jerry's and got a huge waffle cone, yummmmy :) I almost ate every bit of it too. It was so nice to just casually walk around, look at stuff and not be worried about the time, or being with someone else that was ready to leave or anything. It was just me and my crazy mind all by ourselves.

I stoped on the way home and picked up hot wings and bread sticks so I did not have to cook and just enjoyed my evening, looking at trash magazines and I also started reading one of my books.

Today I got to work and my BFF Teresa had sent me a birthday card with a gift card in it to Kohls.. Yeah I get to go back again, maybe I can get away with going again without kids.

Today I also received a vase of flowers and a Willow Creek Angel from.... Taelor's mom, yes you are reading this correctly..(my husbands ex) today is her birthday and I sent her a text message telling her happy birthday and she sent me one back saying "OMG I am so sorry I forgot your birthday" I told her to not to worry about it, it was just her age and to enjoy her day. Well I get flowers and the angel with a belated birthday card. How sweet...I have to say that we do get along pretty well. I was not expecting anything, we have in the past gotten each other stuff for our birthdays, but I dont think we got each other anything last year. Anyways, as soon as I got the flowers I sent her some too. I would have just felt awful that she sent me something and I did not send her anything. So long story short we both got flowers today :)

My mom also sent me a HUGE basket yesterday full of cookies, candy, chocolate, chips, and everything else you could think of that a girl would need.... lots of chocolate !!!!

Thank you to EVERYONE from my surprise party on Saturday to my day yesterday, thanks for all of the gifts, birthday wishes, and your friendship. I am truly blessed by having each and everyone of you in my life.
