Pretty in Pink

The bathroom is painted and all of the decor is up. I have to say I was a little worried when Chance stared painting because it was so pink, but once I got the white shower curtain up and all of the other white stuff in there it looks good. I got a white rug to go down in there and I am going to monogram it in hot pink, so I think I will look even better once that is done. Brittany really likes it so all is well!

When we were out Saturday we ended up getting a new table and chairs for the kitchen. It is one of the bar tables, the table is real high and the chairs are like bar stools. Once we got it in here Chance of course had more decorating ideas. So I am off today to try to finish that up. The chairs have white cushion seats and I have already threatened the kids life if they get anything on the seats. Knowing me I will be the one to get something on them.

Well we are ending a year full of ups and downs. I sat up last night thinking of everything that has occurred this year and I wanted to cry at some and laugh at others. Erin lost her first tooth this year. And I think for the first time in a long time we are not planning to move or have not moved this year. Yeah!!! You know we have moved more than the military in the past 4 years.

Brittany made majorette and the excitement she had that night she found out she made it was priceless. I am not sure I have ever seen her so happy. She changed schools earlier this year to Beulah and I think that was the best decision I have made. She got there just in time to try out for Majorette and then made it. I am so proud of her.

Taelor turned 13, she is now a teenager, lord help us all!! She got a cell phone for her birthday and was so excited when the box was ringing and could not get in there fast enough. That was too funny.

I am not going to mention all of the sad moments from the year. Lets just say there are alot of people in our family that are no longer with us. All we can do is reflect on the memories and never forget them.

I pray that 2008 brings lots of laughs and joy to everyone and lets make new great memories for 2008!!!!
