Updates

Its been awhile so lets just talk about what we have been up to lately. Last Thursday we (Brittany & I) volunteered to do the Stew thing with the band. This is Brunswick stew that they cook from scratch and sell. It is the nastiest stuff I have ever done I think. I done it last year and Brittany did not go, however this year she wanted to go so we done that on Thursday. We had to pull hot meat off of the bones, cut it up and pull the nasty fat off of it. After you do all of this gross stuff, believe me you do not want to eat it. I am sure it is very good and all but we dont sell it or buy any. I refuse to eat it after I have done all of that crap. Just gross! I donate my time and energy and that is that...

Friday we had yet another loss by the Beulah football team. Poor things have yet to win. They only have 2 more games left I just hope and pray they can atleast win one.

Saturday is was off at the butt crack of dawn for a yard sale at Dee's house, this was all my husbands idea... You know we live out in Bu Fu so we had to have it in town where people are.. Anyho, I arrived there late, because Chance was asleep in the freakin bathtub again. That is a whole Blog in itself. Anyways, I got there and observed our stuff. I told Chance before we had the darn thing that we did not have enough stuff, he insisted we did and had already junked up Dee's shed with all of our crap so he had to have it. Okay Teresa you would appreciate this... A drive bye is when you drive by a yard sale and observe from your car window if it is worth stopping or not. Truth be told ,lets just say we had ALOT of drive byes. It was so bad one time the person slowed down looked through the car window and then hit the gas, litterly it was like he stomped on the gas. I at that time told myself it was time to head inside and stay in there as long as possible. I have had my share of yard sales and this by far was the worst EVER. I felt like I should have had a booth at the freakin Lee County Flee Market. We ended the day a whole $85.00 richer. Woo Hoo :) Note to self... Have a whole lot of crap before I attempt this again.

Sunday it was off to church, and that afternoon the annual pumpkin carving/Birthday for party for Chances uncle. I have to say Chance and Brittany had big expectations about the party. Last year they both placed 1st and 2nd. This year not so lucky for them... They did not even place. They did have alot of fun though. David (Brittany boyfriend) came with us. This was the first time he ever carved a pumpkin. I think he enjoyed himself.

Monday Erin had a game she had to cheer at and it was sooooo cold. The little girls hands were so cold it was like they were turning purple. It was only like 50 degrees, however down here in the south that is REAL cold. I know those of you in the north are reading this thinking whatever!!! But it was real cold, take my word for it.

I am off now and going to bed to read the remaing chapters of my book, the Glass Castle... I am just dying to know what will happen next. You need to read this book, real good and it is a true story or so they say... If anyone wants to borrow it let me know. I am hopefully going to finish it tonight.
