Does your VOTE count ????

I ask this question because of this scenario. I have friends that are Obama supporters and there saying is "Why should I vote the state is going to vote for McCain anyway". Okay, so if that IS true, which it probably is... Why should these people vote? Same thing goes for people that are maybe a McCain supporter that are in a state that usually votes Democrat.

So what do you say to your children to make them understand that there vote counts? I am voting, my husband is not. He is not even registered to vote. I and a good friend of his has tried to convince him that he needs to, but he is still hard headed and refuses to register. Whatever.

So again, Why should you vote if your state usually votes Republican and you are going to vote for a Democrat??? Or do you just not vote due to those circumstances?

Another question; Why are you voting for one verses the other? What makes that person better fit for the position verses the other? I have watched all of the debates and am still not 100% convinced that either one of them is better for the job than the other. I like certain things about each of them, but 1 has not totally won me over yet. I have always voted Republican, but do you vote for the Republican just because you have ALWAYS voted that way? My question is who are you voting for and WHY?

You don't have to answer if you don't want to, but I would like to hear your side and why you think that person is better fit for the position rather than the other.

Your opinion may result in my vote, but then again does it even matter?
