Accomplishments

I accomplished something today, I went to church.... Yeah me! I have for long while not attended church regularly. If you know me at all you know I use to be at church every time the doors were open, worked in the nursery, done children's church, helped with Awannas, I have done a little bit of everything. However, for a long time I have not been in church or staying focused on what I needed to do as a parent, and wife.
I was asked to go to church by my neighbor so we went today, when I say we I mean myself and the children. Chance is another story, see he use to go a long time ago too, but we had some mishaps in the church with the preacher and it I would say turned him off to church and with that said he does not go anymore and has not had the desire to. There were some of our friends there and her husband was there so I told Chance "he was there" so I am hoping that will get him there. We will see.
Okay, change of subject. I have figured out what to do about the whole no sleeping thing..... Drink a glass of wine before you are ready to go to bed and it will knock you out. It does me anyways so I am rolling with it for the moment. When we were on the last girls weekend at the beach, Dee ordered some wine it was called "Polka Dot" it is a Riesling wine, I have to say I really do not like wine, but this was really good. So when I returned from the beach I was on a mission to find it, I tried Publix, and Wal-Mart could not find it. Of all places I found it at this country store by my house for like $11.00, so I am guessing it must be a redneck sort of thing. Go figure???
Well my wine is kicking in so I am off to bed. How funny, I just realized that I first talked about church, then changed the subject to an alcohol beverage that I am drinking at the very moment....don't tell anyone :)
