Here Little Kitty

I went yesterday to Petco and bought a kitty from the humane society. Lets first back this up a little and tell you why I got the kitten in the first place. I have yet to blog about this one. If you remember we had a dog named Odie, first of all if you ever met Odie you would know he had attitude and especially if you told him to go "outside", he would just loose it and he turned in to Mr. Crazy. He just went crazy, barking and growling at you and would even snap at your feet. Well, we had to get rid of him, I would say it was maybe right before new years, he bit Chance and when I say he bit him he bit almost through his finger. It was pretty bad. Chance was trying to get him outside because he snapped at Erin and when Chance picked him up he bit him. There was blood everywhere on the floor, it was not a good day for Odie needless to say. Chance took him off the next day, he did take him to somewhere that would not put him down so that was easier on the mind. The kids however missed him pretty bad. Brittany took it worse than what I thought she would when she came home from school and he was not here.
Now to the good news. I got a kitten yesterday and he is so cute. The kids love him and he is so sweet. He is about 4 months old. He has already been fixed and has had all his shots. I bought him all kinds of toys and goodies for his new home. I have to say Chance has even taken to him. Brittany was not with us when Dee and I went to Petco so we surprised her with him and said we would let her name it. She has came up with the name Elliott. I am not really digging the name but oh well. So we now have a new friend in our house and the kids are happy and I think Chance is too even if he wont admit it.
