You Go Brittany

I cant believe I forgot to tell you about Brittany and her good news. She received a letter in the mail and it was addressed to the parents of Brittany Coker. It was from the state. We opened it up and it was an invite to be a part of the People to People Student Ambassador Programs, inside it said she was nominated to be a part of this program during the summer of next year. How excited she and I were. It gave us a pin number and a web site to sign in and reserve a spot at the meeting in September. We of course looked it up and read about it and signed her up. She was so excited. The meeting is in September in Montgomery and we have the details taped to our refrigerator. The web site said that the meeting will give us all the details and cost of course. The letter said that there destination next year will be the United Kingdom and Ireland. I think this is so great. Someone had to nominate her to be able to get invited. I think that is the neatest part someone thought enough of her to put her name in the hat so to speak.
I am so proud of her since changing schools she has grown so much she made majorette, her grades have improved and when she got her schedule she has honors classes in 2 of her subjects and now this. You go Brittany. She also has a 4 year plan, I asked her in the car on the way home the other day what her 4 year plan was and I thought she would like at me like I was crazy but she didnt she just started telling me what it was. I think moving her from her old school was the best decision I have made in a long time.
