1st Day of School

Today was the kids first day of school, Brittany starting the 9th and Erin in the 2nd. The morning went very smoothly for the first day. I made sure I woke Brittany up early so she would have plenty of time to do whatever it is she does that takes her so LONG to get ready.
Erin is usually very hard to get up in the morning, but she was quite easy to get her up today. I took Erin to school and walked her in of course. She is so big now, she found her desk and sat up real big and tall. I know she will do great this year.
Brittany wanted to ride the bus to and from school today. I guess the strings have finally been cut. She did not want me to take her or pick her up. I asked her this morning if she was nervous and she said "No" and then I asked her if she knew where her classes were and of course she said "No". I am sure she will find them just fine and have a great day also.
I took the day off so I could be home on there first day of school. I ended up bringing more work home to do so I guess I am really not off other than I am in the comfort of my own home. I do plan on getting in the pool before I have to pick up Erin though.
