First Day of School

So today was the first day of school, Erin 4th grade and Brittany a junior... Erin was all decked out in her Aeropostale shirt and her Sperry shoes, which she picked out all on her own. Brittany on the other hand was not a bit worried about what she was going to wear... She said she was not real worried about what she was going to wear... Go figure... Erin..... 4th grade here I come !!!

Everything went good for both of them today, they both loved all there teachers and classes. Erin said it was the best first day EVER !!!!! And for me (mom)... Everything was fine until I went to pick Erin up today.. Lets see.. I sat in the car line for 25 minutes and when I get up there to get her, she is nowhere to be found......I tell a teacher and she tells me to move up in the line and she will go find her.....Waiting....waiting... In the mean time I call my friend at the daycare and ask if they have her... WELL, they DO !!! Upset just a TAD..... I told the teacher off (just a little) okay, ALOT....

I get home after stopping by daycare to pick up Erin and guess who calls???? Erin's teacher just apologizing all over herself.....I did tell her how upset I was, ya know I did take the day off so I could take her and pick her up her very first day..... She was so sorry.. anyways I sure do hope this is not an indication on how her year will be...

All in all the kids both had a great first day and that is all that really matters..... :)
