Day full of TV !!!

I have to admit I was sucked into the TV yesterday for about 8 hours.... So that is why I did not blog, however it was a VERY good show. It was The Secret Life of an American Teenager... So good. It was the whole season of it on ABC Family yesterday. I watched every single episode. I started watching it when it came on a few months back, but was not able to keep up with it.

I have to say as I sit here and think about the show... It was very realistic in alot of ways. I was only 16 when I got pregnant with Brittany. I think alot of what the girl on the show is going through I went through myself. Just a very good show and good for teenagers to watch also. It kind of puts things in prospective for them..It only takes ONE time to get pregnant and change your life forever.

My feelings on this subject is: If they want to do IT, they will no matter what you have said to them or promises they may make to you. So as a parent you have to expect that and have realistic views on it. Before they even think about IT. You have to talk to them and prevent pregnancy and make sure they understand this is something you can never take back once it is done. They also need to be made aware of diseases and such as well that can not be cured or forgotten about.

With all of that said the NEW season of The Secret Life of the American Teenager starts tonight and I can not wait to start watching it again. Hopefully I will be able to keep up with it better. Or better yet I can record it and watch it later....
