Memorial Day

Hello, I first of all want us all to remember why we most of us are off today. Not just to have a lovely 3 day weekend, but to remember all of the people that have sacrificed there lives for us and our freedom. I think everyone has been affected by a loss of a loved one at war or at least know someone that has lost someone. This day is for them and to remember what they have done for us. It just breaks my heart to know that we have lost over 4thousand men and women in this war we are at right now. People have lost children, husbands, fathers, and mothers. Let us all remember them today.
Yesterday, we put our pool to work for the first day of the summer and Brittany and Chance are paying the price today. They both got a little too much sun. Poor Brittany is really burnt on her stomach. We layed out in the pool pretty much all day and enjoyed every minute of it. I did not have to leave the house at all yesterday, (except to go get Brittany a watermelon), but besides that I was home bound all day and I loved it. I even e-mailed Dee my Wal-Mart list and she picked it all up for me and brought it to me, she was on her way over anyway. That was real nice, I told her we may have to do this more often. I did not have to fool around with all of the crazies that are at Wally World. We cooked out and ate too much and had watermelon for dessert. It was a very relaxing day. We are doing the same thing today however we will be at Dee's house today. Brittany's new boyfriend David is coming over and he will be with us for the day. Time to put him to the test,you know grill him a little bit =) Have to make sure he has a sense of humor!!! Brittany spent the whole day at his house Saturday, she went to his game, to his house, and out to eat and then bowling. She said she had fun and dont worry I met his mom and made sure they were okay and not crazy people or something. Now it is time for us to hang out with him and make sure he is not psycho or something. Chance is at work today so it will be Dee and I doing all of the questioning. She is as bold as Chance is so I think things will go very well. Poor David he just does not know what he is in for.
